I wanted to provide you with a brief update regarding some exciting changes to the Foundation’s TSIC Program.   The SJCEF has been undergoing a structural reorganization.  One component of these changes involves the TSIC Program.  The values and mission of TSIC remain one of the SJCEF’s top initiatives.  The restructuring process included a thorough evaluation of our program and similar programs around the state. This has lead to several structural changes to the program that will be implemented in July, 2010.  The recommendations that have been developed are consistent with other TSIC Programs throughout the state. We believe this will allow us to substantially grow the program, and impact a greater number of deserving students.

We believe this reorganization will bring us closer to our newly established goal of increasing our TSIC student population by 100% in four years!  Please be assured that the Board of the SJCEF remains committed to TSIC and to providing students and mentors with the support and assistance to succeed!
