The St. Johns County School District benefited from the professional services of David Toner for his entire educational career. Mr. Toner retired in 2006 after 35 years of faithful service. Mr. Toner was a vital part of the success of the district and this scholarship was created in his honor.
The Toner Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded annually to a graduating senior enrolled at a high school in St. Johns County who plans to attend Florida State University.
